The main benefit of Hy-Vee is that they are likely to have items that Fareway doesn't carry. Hy-Vee prices are quite a bit higher overall. Their produce is generally better, though. Meat counter has lots more seafood - and you can smell it - but their meat is nowhere near the quality of Fareway, and not full-service, only one counter attendant. Staff courtesy is generally good.
Last Southwest Hy-Vee that still has Asin food selection in the deli. Nice health food section.
Great service and staff. Having them cater my wedding and they were great at talking with me and assisting with planning.

This store is very clean. The store offers a lot of variety. I like that this location has a dining option. The food that is prepared here is good. The meat department has a good variety and selection. Staff here is extremely friendly and helpful. Staff is very familiar with layout of store which can be rare to find anymore. Like the hours that they offer, especially if you work out of town and longer hours, makes it convenient to still be able to grab things as your swinging home.
