This is an awesome park located on the southeast side of Winterset. It includes one of Madison County's famous covered bridges, a hedge maze, and Clark Tower. Driving through the woods to the tower made me feel like I was in a state park but I was very close to town. It has a pretty good view over the river valley in a scenic area.
Awesome for walking. The covered bridge and Clark's Tower are also great benefits of this park along with 3 pavilions. Come to let the kids play or just walk around. Nice place to have a peaceful moment.
Outstanding gem close to the DSM metro. Excellent play area for kids and fantastic views of the valley from the tower.
Great place to take a walk or go for a jog or take the kids to play. Its gorgeous this time of year. U can only drive through until the first snow then u can still walk through so not much more time to check it out this year.
Well maintained and clean. Part of the Bridges of Madison tour. Well marked and easy to find. I bet it gets busy during the summer, but we had it pretty much to ourselves during our September visit. Plenty to keep families entertained.
